YOUR FIRST MASSAGE
If you have never yet experienced a massage before and don't know what to expect, here are some helpful tips to help make your first massage as enjoyable as possible.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out any client intake forms.
It is also recommended to take a hot shower prior to your arrival to help loosen up the muscles being worked on.
Avoid eating a heavy meal before your session.
Please give open feedback to your therapist regarding pressure, speed, technique, problem areas, or comfort level.
Please drink plenty of water after your massage to flush toxins and avoid kickback pain.
If you are receiving deep work, please consider having someone to drive you home.
A 24 hour minimum is appreciated should you need to cancel your appointment.
Gratuity ranges anywhere from 0-20% based on your personal enjoyment of your session. You can also show your appreciation by referring others.
